Today I took Harriet to Witney. Everyone thought she was gorgeous.
Today I couldn't stop thinking about ideas for my Etsy shop. Was super tired and had migraine due to late night shopping for shop supplies and more binging on free Craftsy / Creativebug classes. Amazed that my 'talk' with Harriet last night was effective, and today she let me brush her teeth today without fuss unlike before.
Today I made 2 sketchbook cover prototypes for my Etsy shop. They turned out very well. Very excited.
Today I went to Witney with Owen and he was very tired and grumpy and it made me angry as I thought it would be a treat for him. Should've just let him stay at home. In the evening I binged on the free weekend of Craftsy and Creative Bug classes until very late and I was dozing off on the sofa.
Today I had a busy day at work and didn't pay attention to much else.
Today Guy, who lives in Hong Kong these days dropped by to visit us and brought toys. Always nice to see old friends.
Today Little Miss Trouble woke up in the night and bullied me into reading her 4 bedtime stories. Why do children love stories soooooo much?
Today I had a headache most of the day brought on by this annoying sore throat. Poor Harriet kept coming to me to play or ask for food when I was lying on the sofa napping and ignoring her.
Today I was ill and tired, so Peter too Harriet to the toddler group instead.
Today we went to Effie's birthday party at the soft play at Millet's Farm. Owen was really annoying, grumpy and disagreeable today and made me so angry.
Today I took Owen to Witney to do some grocery shopping and spent a long time at the library. In the evening I made another sketchbook for my shop, it was much neater than before, but still took me an hour to make just one.
Today I worked from home. We got a quote from one of the builders for our extension, and they were much much higher than we expected. Disappointed.
Today I was ill with sore throat and headache and so came home early from work.
Today I was a bit grumpy.
Today Owen had a trial martial arts class. Harriet gate crashed it and wanted to join in too.
Today I took Harriet to messy play and almost got into a car accident due to being late, being lost, being careless, Harriet crying, and the annoying Sat Nav. After that Harriet stopped crying and repeated 'uh oh' instead. In the end she hated messy play anyway. Seems like none of my children liked it. Probably got that from me.
Today I took Owen out to Witney to buy grocery, then hung out at the bookshop, and then to the cafe. As usual whenever I took him out, just the two of us, he was such a good boy. In the evening I sat alone, knitting Harriet's jumper while listening to indie music from Soundcloud. Bliss.
Today we went to the Straw Kitchen to meet up with Georgie and her family. Great to see the children get along. Harriet woke up at 10am, and then didn't get to nap till we drove home just before 5pm and slept till 7:30pm! So it was all a bit mad and she was singing in bed, full of energy, after I put her to bed.
Today Owen had a school trip to Banbury Hill Farm, but was almost late for school because he wanted to finish playing with his stickers first, so he didn't have time for breakfast. It was also the first time he was taken to school by someone else. Our turn next week to take his friend.
Today we to the Maker's market at our village with the children for dinner and came home quite late. Harriet woke us all in the night.
