I'm working hard on it offline, and it will be uploaded soon. It's so empty and ugly at the moment because I accidentally deleted the entire codebase and database a year ago. It'll be shiny soon, I promise. x Victoria

My sister gave me some sarong fabric for my birthday, and I've made a dress from it, following the pattern from the Japanese sewing book, Stylish Dress Book (vol 1), Dress E.

in Today...

  • Yesterday
we finally took Owen to 'take the train to the next station to go to the museum to see T.rex', as he'd been talking about that for weeks. He had a great time in Oxford, and had been a really good boy.
  • Friday, 23rd September
Owen finally understood bargaining and trading. We persuaded him to eat a spoonful of chicken to get a piece of mango in return. And thus he finished his dinner.
  • Thursday, 22nd September
I was so tired I overslept and didn't get to see Owen before he left for the nursery.
  • Wednesday, 21st September
I was still sneezing a lot. Team lunch at work was lovely as usual, I ate for two. It was nice to see Chris and his wife again, who had come to visit. Owen was very happy today.
  • Tuesday, 20th September
I was still feeling poorly, so we stayed at home. Owen has a great imagination, so he wasn't too bored staying indoors. It's amazing the things he says. I made a cake for the first time in ages.

I guess it's expected of James Cameron to be formulaic in such a Hollywood blockbuster way. It is a Hollywood blockbuster... what was I thinking?

感じ (also kanji): feeling; sensation

I'm learning Japanese and this is where I experiment with stream-of-consiousness style essays inspired by the 漢字 that I am learning.
